FAQ

Is there a minimum top-up?

Minimum top-up is 10 CNY (roughly $1.50 USD). You can start with a small amount to test, then top up more as you scale.

Do I need a Chinese phone number?

A phone number is useful for account verification but not required for payment. WeChat Pay and Alipay work with any account that has those apps installed.

Can my team share a balance?

Yes. You can create multiple API keys under one account, each with its own budget cap. Billing is aggregated at the account level.

Is there a markup on top of upstream model prices?

Router One's pricing is published per model on the models page. Spreads vs upstream direct pricing are minimal and transparent.

What happens when my balance reaches zero?

API calls return a 402 status until you top up. Existing requests in flight complete normally. Top-up is instant.
